Slate from Glava

The Glava slate was formed approximately 1.65 billion years ago, and is actually a schist. It is commonly grey, but can also have a red colour tone. It was produced in multiple sizes, and features slots for fastening with nails. The quarry is still active, but the production of roof slate is not large scale.
